Writing a letter to your child’s teacher is a great tool to use this year to introduce your child and family. You can write a letter or create a short video from the student, parent, or family. The tone of your letter should be friendly, positive, and upbeat.
What about a get to know me video?
If you prefer, shoot a quick video with your phone. I love the idea of a get to know me video. The teacher gets to see your child and gets to know them on a more personal level. Check out our “get to know me” video that Haddie recorded this weekend. Enjoy!
Send me a copy of your video or letter. I would love to see what you and your family create – nicole@dyslexiamomlife.com.
A few things to include in your dear teacher letter/video:
- Hobbies? Sports?
- Favorite subject(s)
- Interests
- Favorite foods
