Why not come to meetings this year with an organized notebook with your child’s work samples, assessments, and communication logs?

What is a communication log?

A communication log is a record of contacts you have with school staff, specialists, counselors, and other professionals who are working with your child. There are a few ways you can create and maintain a communication log.

What is a data notebook?

If there is one thing parents have in common, it is the paperwork. Schools send home copies of progress reports, report cards, behavior logs, teacher notes, evaluation reports, and state testing . . . just to name a few.

It is important that you have a system to organize all the documents you want to keep for future reference. A data notebook is the answer to your system to organize all those school documents.

Listen to learn more about how to create a communication log for school contacts and a data notebook to save all of your child’s education records.
